This printer has never printed anything. The plastic thread inside it has snapped. Everything below is in order, and every step needs the one before it. Part one · make it printTeil eins · zum Drucken bringen

  1. Look at the red switch. Do not change it.Schau auf den roten Schalter. Ändere nichts.

    On the power box there is a small red switch. It should show 230. In Germany that is correct. You are only checking. Then plug in and switch the printer on at the green button.

    Am Netzteil ist ein kleiner roter Schalter. Da muss 230 stehen. In Deutschland ist das richtig. Du schaust nur nach. Dann einstecken und den Drucker am grünen Knopf anschalten.

    This is the only thing on this machine you cannot undo, so it is worth ten seconds.Das ist das Einzige an dieser Maschine, das du nicht rückgängig machen kannst. Dafür lohnen sich zehn Sekunden.

  2. Let the printer push the broken piece outLass den Drucker das abgebrochene Stück rausschieben

    Do not pull on the plastic. The printer does this by itself.

    Prepare → Filament → Filament Remove

    A message says the head is too cold. Press OK. Now wait. The screen counts up and you want it to read 230/230. That takes about two minutes. Only then press Filament Remove again. The printer pushes the old piece back out on its own.

    Zieh nicht am Plastik. Der Drucker macht das selbst.

    Es kommt eine Meldung, dass der Kopf zu kalt ist. Drück OK. Jetzt warten. Auf dem Bildschirm läuft die Zahl hoch, bis da 230/230 steht. Das dauert ungefähr zwei Minuten. Erst dann nochmal Filament Remove drücken. Der Drucker schiebt das alte Stück von allein raus.

    Cold plastic is like a dry spaghetti. It snaps and leaves a piece stuck inside. Warm plastic is like chewing gum and comes out in one piece.Kaltes Plastik ist wie eine trockene Spaghetti. Es bricht ab und ein Stück bleibt drin stecken. Warmes Plastik ist wie Kaugummi und kommt am Stück raus.

  3. Cut the end at an angleSchneide das Ende schräg ab

    Take the side cutters from the toolbox, the small black pliers. Cut about a hand's width off the purple filament, so you have a fresh end. Cut it at an angle, so it ends in a point like a sharpened pencil.

    Nimm den Seitenschneider aus dem Werkzeugkasten, die kleine schwarze Zange. Schneide etwa eine Handbreit vom lila Filament ab, damit du ein frisches Ende hast. Schneide schräg, sodass es spitz zuläuft wie ein angespitzter Bleistift.

    The gear that grabs the filament is small and the hole it pushes into is barely wider than the filament. A point slips in. A flat or squashed end hits the rim and stops, and then you are pushing plastic into nothing.Das Zahnrad, das das Filament packt, ist klein, und das Loch dahinter ist kaum breiter als das Filament. Eine Spitze rutscht rein. Ein gerades oder plattes Ende stößt an den Rand und bleibt stehen, und dann schiebst du Plastik ins Nichts.

  4. Feed the new filament inSchieb das neue Filament rein

    Prepare → Filament → Filament In

    Press OK and wait again for 230/230. Push the pointed end through the little black box on the frame (that is the sensor), then into the clear plastic box on the frame, until you feel a gear grab it and pull. Then press Filament In again. The printer pulls it in by itself.

    Watch the nozzle at the bottom of the blue head. After a few seconds a thin purple thread comes out. Press Stop.

    Prepare → Filament → Filament In

    Drück OK und warte wieder auf 230/230. Schieb die Spitze durch die kleine schwarze Box am Rahmen (das ist der Sensor) und dann in die durchsichtige Box am Rahmen, bis du merkst, dass ein Zahnrad zupackt und zieht. Dann nochmal Filament In drücken. Der Drucker zieht es von allein ein.

    Schau unten auf die Düse am blauen Kopf. Nach ein paar Sekunden kommt ein dünner lila Faden raus. Drück Stop.

    That purple thread is the whole test. It means the way from the spool to the nozzle is open again.Dieser lila Faden ist der ganze Test. Er heißt: der Weg von der Rolle bis zur Düse ist wieder frei.

  5. Let the printer measure the bedLass den Drucker das Bett vermessen

    First wipe the gold plate with a cloth, and check no plastic is stuck on the nozzle tip.

    Prepare → Leveling → Auto-leveling → OK

    The head warms up, then taps its way across the plate all by itself. It takes a few minutes. Do not touch anything while it does this. The nozzle is hot enough to burn you.

    Wisch zuerst die goldene Platte mit einem Tuch ab und schau, dass kein Plastik an der Düsenspitze klebt.

    Prepare → Leveling → Auto-leveling → OK

    Der Kopf wird warm und tippt dann ganz allein die Platte ab. Das dauert ein paar Minuten. Fass währenddessen nichts an. Die Düse ist heiß genug, um dich zu verbrennen.

    The printer is finding out where the plate is, to the tenth of a millimetre. If it guesses wrong, nothing sticks. This is the step that saves your first print.Der Drucker findet heraus, wo genau die Platte ist, auf Zehntelmillimeter. Rät er falsch, klebt nichts. Dieser Schritt rettet deinen ersten Druck.

  6. Print the file that is already on the cardDruck die Datei, die schon auf der Karte ist

    Put the memory card in the slot at the front left, metal side up.

    Print → File List → AMARA_20MM.gcode → Print

    Twelve minutes. Stay next to it and watch the very first layer go down.

    If the first layer sticks, the rest almost always works. If it does not stick, stop it. Loose plastic gets dragged around and welds into a lump on the nozzle, and that takes an hour to clean off.Wenn die erste Schicht klebt, klappt der Rest fast immer. Wenn sie nicht klebt, brich ab. Loses Plastik wird herumgeschleift und backt als Klumpen an der Düse fest, und das putzt du eine Stunde lang weg.

Your roll says 200–230 °C and Anycubic's own settings say a 60 °C bed. The slicer wanted to use a 35 °C bed, which would have peeled the print straight off the plate. That is already corrected in this file.Auf deiner Rolle steht 200–230 °C, und Anycubics eigene Einstellungen sagen 60 °C Bett. A machine that has stood still for two years makes you want to tighten things. Do not. You have never seen it work, so if you change something now you will not know whether a problem was there before or you just made it. Fix the thread, level, print. Where things areWo was ist

Important, because it tells you where to look. The clear plastic box on the frame at the upper left is what grabs and pushes the filament. The white tube carries it across to the blue head on the right. So your broken piece is at the box end, not down at the nozzle.Wichtig, weil es dir sagt, wo du suchen musst. Die durchsichtige Box oben links am Rahmen packt und schiebt das Filament. Der weiße Schlauch bringt es rüber zum blauen Kopf rechts. Dein abgebrochenes Stück sitzt also an der Box, nicht unten an der Düse.
Your photo. The spool is almost untouched, so you have plenty. The short purple stub above the sensor is the broken piece that step 2 pushes out.Dein Foto.     Set width 1920, height 1080, and tick Shutdown source when not visible. It has a transparent background, so it sits on top of the camera. You could print fifty of the big one and still have most of the roll. Plastic is not what limits you, time is. And at 2 cm the head is about 3 mm wide, so the face will not be there at all. This print proves the machine works. It is not what the product looks like.Du könntest fünfzig von der großen Größe drucken und hättest immer noch fast die ganze Rolle.
